| Application | Mode of action :Dimethylene is a dinitrotoluidine herbicide, which mainly inhibits the division of meristem cells and does not affect the germination of weed seeds, but acts on the absorption of the drug by the young buds, stems and roots during the germination of weed seeds. The absorption site of dicotyledon plants is hypocotyledon, while that of monocotyledon plants is young buds. The harm symptom is that the young buds and secondary roots are inhibited to achieve the purpose of weed control. Uses: Provides control of Echinochloa spp., as well as many broadleaf, sedge and aquatic weeds in rice. Penoxsulam provides residual weed control, depending on soil type and use rate. In tropical rice, application will be at 10-15 g/ha; in temperate rice, 20-50 g/ha. Primary use will be a post-emergence application in dry-seeded, water-seeded and transplanted rice. |
