Mode of Action	Clodinafop-propargyl is a selective systemic herbicide that inhibits the enzyme acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), essential for fatty acid biosynthesis in grass weeds. Inhibition of ACCase disrupts cell membrane production, leading to growth cessation and death of sensitive grassy weeds.
Target	It is effective mainly against annual grass weeds such as wild oats (Avena fatua), canary grass (Phalaris spp.), and foxtails (Setaria spp.). It does not control broadleaf weeds, which is why it's often used in combination with other herbicides.
Crops	Clodinafop-propargyl is primarily used in wheat and sometimes barley, where it selectively controls grassy weeds without damaging the crop. It is applied post-emergence and is especially useful in areas with grass weed resistance issues.
