Trade names used outside of the U.S. include Doom, Nogos, and Nuvan.

Introduction	Dichlorvo s is a broad-spectrum insecticide and acaricide. It has the effects of contact killing, stomach poisoning and fumigation. The contact effect is better than trichlorfon, and it knocks down pests more quickly. Quick-acting broad-spectrum phosphate insecticide and acaricide.
Mode of action	Insecticide and acaricide with respiratory, contact, and stomach action. Gives rapid knockdown.
Application	Control of household and public health insect pests, e.g. flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches, bedbugs, ants, etc.; stored-product pests in warehouses, storerooms, etc.; flies and midges in animal houses; sciarid and phorid flies in mushrooms; sucking and chewing insects, and spider mites in a wide range of crops, including fruit, vines, vegetables, ornamentals, tea, rice, cotton, hops, glasshouse crops, etc. Also used as a veterinary anthelmintic.

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:It is a light-yellow or yellowish brown transparent and volatile liquid with a slight aromatic odour,b.p.74^oC(1mmHg),d420 1.42.The solubility in water is 1%, it is soluble in most organic solvents; easily hydrolyzes in alkaline solutions; corrosive to iron or soft steel.
TOXICITY: Acute oral LD₅₀ to rats is 56-108mg/kg, acute dermal LD₅₀ to rats is 75-210 mg/kg.

USES:Dichlorvo s is strong poisonous to pests with stomach poisoning, contact poisoning and fumigation action.It is mainly used on cotton, fruit trees, vegetable, sugarcane, tobacco, tea, mulberry for controlling pests, it can also be used for public health and grain storage pests controlling.

 

 PRECAUTION:

1.To avoid phytotoxicity,don't use dichlorvo s on Chinese rose and sorghum.it is also sensitive to the emergence of corn and melon. The dilution times should be more than 800, it is better to have a test before using.
2.The dilution of technical grade diluted with diese l should be used up in one day.
3.It can't be mixed with alkaline solution.
